Baby wheezing

my baby is 11months old (almost) he had bronchiolitis that needed hospitalisation for 4 days when he was 5 months. A few weeks ago he got it again and even tho he did have a cough, wheezing and mild recessions they sent us home as everything else was fine.
this was about 3/4 weeks ago and he seems absolutely fine in himself, still happy and bubbly and playing. Drinking and eating fine and having lots of wet/dirty nappies. But he still has a cough that sounds a bit crackly and he’s still wheezing. He does look to have mild recessions still, even though they are nowhere near as bad as a few weeks ago. I’m just wondering should it be lingering on this long? I don’t think he is poorly or needs to go back to the hospital because he’s well in himself and definitely not bothered by it but is it normal for the coughing and wheezing to last this long? Has anyone else experienced this? Tia x

I was told it can go on for 6 weeks after. But if you’re worried maybe it’s worth just checking with the gp?
