Ds 2 years old has an ear infection it's resistant to antibiotics they did a swab. Going in tomorrow for more meds/plan.

It seems though the gunk coming from his ear is causing blistering spots where it touches his ear lobe. I've not come across this before any answers?

I'm pretty well versed in ear infections with 3 kids and myself with glue ear.

You can tape a cotton ball just outside/below the ear to catch the gunk.

Thank you. He's already has grommets fitted to try help his ear infections and hearing.

I was thinking its starting to look like impetigo too. Spots are now spreading up his ear and behind the ear itself. Poor mite had a night of it last night but seems happyish this morning. Will come back and update just in case anyone searches

He's got drops and oral antibiotics. Said the blister spots are because of the gunk being acid like recommended vasaline to protect the skin
