3 year old hair falling out

For the last week my DS who is 3 years old has been loosing hair, it is not noticeable and there are no bald patches, but when I run my hand through his hair , there are a few strands that fall out.
Or on his pillow I notice a few strands.
The picture below is his hair when I run my hand through his hair and few times.
His iron and blood test have come back fine.
I am really worried if this is normal, and I have noticed my 5 year old is also starting to loose hair

I think the average hair loss per day is 50ish which is normal and part of the hair cycle.
is he losing much more than that?

I would say he is loosing slightly more that 50 strands, I noticed his hair falling out on his pillow or if I run my hand through his hair. But what concerns me is it is something that has just started out of nowhere.

Hair loss is normal and goes in cycles. Has he had viral infection in the last six months? That can sometimes lead to accelerated hair loss. It can be quite alarming, but is usually nothing to worry about. The hair grows back.

In January both him and his brother had viral infection, with high temps, fever and chest infection.
Could this be it , because his brother who is 5 also has hair falling out , both roughly at the same time.

That’s probably it. I had food poisoning with a high temp and lost about a third of my hair 3 months later

Is there anything I can do to help it repeat grow or will it just take it course and grow back on its own

Also does this also effect eyelashes and eyebrows , because I noticed today he had 1 or 2 eyelashes on his cheek
