5 week old fussing

Has anyone found their baby became a completely different person when they turned 5 weeks? My daughter turned 5 weeks yesterday and omg the fussiness and feeding! She's never been a big eater but suddenly she now wants feeding every 1 to 2 hours. Struggling to sleep and stay asleep and last night was fussing from 2am till 4.30am which is not like her- she settles well usually. It's got me down today as i feel I've been struggling to give her what she wants and keep her content. Anyone experienced this? Think its a growth spurt? Mental leap of some sort?

This is not hugely helpful, but there’ll be up and down periods of fussiness on and off for a few months. At this age generally any phase is fairly short lived though.

I also have a five week old. Every day has been different but the one constant is that she’s wanted almost non-stop feeding. I console myself with the thought that it would be far worse if we were struggling to get milk into her.

We have noticed several distinct phases come and go with length of feeds and sleeps and my understanding is that is totally normal.

Didn’t enjoy the 13 hour cluster feeding stage.
