My DS is 7 weeks old and over the last couple of days the number of poo's he's having has increased to 7 a day at least from one every other day. The majority of these are while he is feeding. They're a lot looser than before and are starting to become a bit mucusy. He's also started chewing his hands and dribbling a lot but don't know if that's related.
Is it normal to see such an increase? Gp said to keep an eye on it over the next few days so very little help there

Could be teething ...mucus is teething, as well as gumbing on things? Is sleeping unsettled/reddish cheeks?

I did initially wonder but he doesn't have red cheeks or gums. He's sleeping ok when he's asleep but a bit of a struggle to get him to that point
