Would love to get some advice please.
Baby mainly breastfeed but topped up with formula (Aptamil 1 bottle) in the evening. Baby is nearly 6 weeks old and seems to be in a lot of discomfort when passing wind or bowel movements.
Started off with Green poop and then with small fleck of blood. Then last night more of a mucus mustard poop and then this one this morning. Can’t really tell the colour. Evening and morning ones usually have small flecks of blood.
Worried It’s an infection or maybe more of an intolerance or just normal for breastfed?
I’ve started administering Infacol to see if it helps.
Have a health visitor appt in a few days so will ask then also but any insight now would be so helpful!
