Rash on newborns leg

Hiya,

FTM here. I noticed a red, scaly rash on my babies inner thigh as I was changing his nappy. Attached a pic. Any thoughts on what it is? Tia

It's hard to tell from that photo but could be sweat/moisture damage. Are you drying him thoroughly? Are you using nappy cream?

I do use nappy cream, his wee bum is absolutely fine so I'm not sure how this occurred outside of the nappy!
Maybe it's irritation from moisture ? - I did have him in a slightly too warm/fleecy outfit one day when we had the hot weather and I was out so couldn't do much till i got home.
