8 week rotavirus vaccine

Hi, my baby had their 8 week jabs yesterday. They have had a few bouts of diarrhoea which were the normal mustard colour. Since then they have pooed much less than normal and the poo is streaked with a green colour, possibly green mucus. Is this normal? Anyone else experience similar following the jabs? Thanks!

Yes both my 2 were a little different after the rotovirus vaccine. It might last for a little while, we were told to make sure everything (nappy change mat/ our hands etc) were all cleaned properly after every dirty nappy for 2 weeks.
The jags really can affect them for a few days after so just see how they get on. If you’re unsure over the weekend then you could pop into a pharmacy or phone 111 for reassurance.

Thank you for your reply. We will watch and see how they go for now. Interesting about the nappies, they mentioned about it, but not for that long.

We were told it’s still very present in their dirty nappies for 28 days after the vaccine was given and very much contagious for the first 2 weeks. We were very strict about cleaning as our friends caught it a week after the vaccine and were pretty unwell
