Baby rash

Does anyone know what this rash is? It appeared yesterday morning and got worse in the evening. It’s been the same all day today. It feels a little dry to touch looks aggressive and is on both sides of the ribs, back and stomach. My daughter has a cold but I feel the rash isn’t viral. She has a runny nose and a cough but is okay in herself. She doesn’t have a temperature, although the rash feels hot to touch. She’s having wet nappy’s just a little more grizzly that usual. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How old is she? If she’s started weaning or is being weaned could be an allergic reaction xx

She’s 9 months old and yes she’s started weaning. Just trying to think what it would be that she’s reacted too. Would it clear up by itself? Thank you

Are you in the UK? If so, have a look on the nhs site for infant rashes. There are lots of different photos shown for various rashes. You might find one that looks similar. If it hasn't got worse and she isn't sick/ hasn't got a temperature then it'll likely just fade away. If in doubt, book a gp appointment. You should get one quickly due to her age.

Yes I’m in the UK I will have a look at the website now. She’s okay in herself it’s eased a little today. She’s just got a cold that she already had before the rash appeared. Her temperature is okay. Thanks so much

It’s rarely the first time you try a new food that the reaction comes, normally 2nd or 3rd etc so maybe could be that x
