12 week old chickenpox

Hi Everyone

My daughter is nearly 12 weeks old (3 days away) and yesterday she was exposed to chicken pox from a friends 4 year old. He had no symptoms so we had no idea until today.
Is my baby likely to get chicken pox? I dont think he touched her but his mum held her. She is exclusively breastfed and ive had chicken pox as a child.
Thanks in advance 😊

She'll probably still have antibodies from you, so may not get it.
My 12 week old DS got CP from his 2.5 year old sister, but only got about three mild spots on his neck. BUT, he then got Shingles at 2 years old and gave his 6 month old sister CP, she was covered!

If she gets it, it'll probably be mild, and no guarantee she'll go on to get Shingles, like mine did, that was just bad luck.
All the best

Not quite the same situation as my DS was much older, but he was exposed to chicken pox when he was two, and I was still BF. He had four spots and wasn't ill at all. He benefitted from my immunity.
Hopefully your little one will be fine too.
