He randomly start regurgitating and sometimes doesn’t happen . When I took him gp, he asked if it happens after food and I said no. It’s so random. He complains of nose pain too as well as eye pain and gp sent him to ENT I think. Today he is clearing his throat more and I am just worried because not sure what he has. He keeps showing me his throat too and pointing to it ( he is 2 years old )

he has no history of reflux or allergies ( his dad is hey fever sufferer so he suggested maybe it’s hey fever )

It could be hayfever, it also sounds a bit like my daughters reflux.

You could get some antihistamines and try them for a day or two to see if it helps? I'd have a chat with a pharmacist. Have you seen the ent or are you at the referral/waiting for an appointment stage?

How long has it been going on for?
Yes try antihistamines, no harm in using them.

Does it happen after milk? My son has a milk protein allergy, and had a bunged up nose and used to make a noise in his throat (not all the time). Also used to have sluggish bowel movement.

We changed him to cows milk and it all improved. When he has cows milk now, some of the old symptoms returns.

His brother is CMPA and was severely constipated till we stopped milk but he had eczema and other CMPA signsetc but my toddler has zero symptoms till the passed few months. His eyes went puffy three weeks ago and hence we suspect hey fever !
I am scared of ppi for such small child. I wouldn’t want him to go into reflux medication till they sure he has it. And why would a small child with no reflux history develop it.
