Sickness

4 year old on day 4 of sickness still cannot keep down water. Tried rehydration sachets, bland foods, all comes straight back up. minimal urine too. He’s just laid up sleeping on and off. Been to doctors this morning as worried about dehydration. She said he is quite dry and dehydrated but to keep trying with water. Have done and it’s all come straight back up.

is there anything else i can try?

Have you tried ice lollies?

Yes unfortunately they’ve come back up. He seems to have perked up in the last hour and managed some sips and half a banana, so hopefully this is the turning point.
