Need help..fever not going away since 4 days ,first took augmentin for 2 days than cefixime 400 mg once a day since 2 days but headache, fever and back pain is still their in my 13 year old son.

Dctr run more test , cbc is normal, mycoplasma test result not come yet... sorry my English is not good but I need suggestion ,this is the first time I am facing this type of infection

How long is the antibiotic course? Taking antibiotics for two and four days doesn't sound right..5-7 days is more usual because they take time to work

Diagnosis is mycoplasma pneumonia... Thank God atleast I get the answer of his prolong fever.. thanks everyone for replying and make me feel I am not alone ❤️
