My DS (5 months) had Bronchiolitis last month and was in HDU for 5 days, he recovered well. 2 weeks ago he started with another cold that again has turned in Bronchiolitis, we were in A&E last Tuesday evening due to recession when breathing. Friday it seemed to be worse so we were there again most of Friday night and sent home as his oxygen and resp rate was fine. He is fine in himself, still feeding, alert etc but he is still wheezing and sucking in on his chest.
Does anyone have any experience on how long we should expect the recession breathing and wheezing to last? I’m so anxious after how poorly he was in February.
