Sorry I don't no if im aloud to ask this but thought I'd try. My daughter has been getting alot of infections so she was sent for an ultrasound today. Anyway they told me I would get the results in around 1 to 2 weeks. But I've recieved a text already saying a doctor needs to call me tomorrow to discuss her ultrasound results.. is this normal to get back so fast or should I be worried? Has anyone had a ultrasound for a child and how long for results please?

I had a phone call a day or so later saying all was clear. My daughter had an ultrasound for a lump on her neck. No idea whether this is the norm or not...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

May I ask how old she is and what was ultrasouned? This might be why it has also come back quick?

She's 3 years old. Keeps getting kidney infections so they just wanted to check everything was OK. Now I'm panicking thinking they've seen something but the lady above got a call fast so hopefully its just to say it's all clear, she's just so pale all the time so I don't no hopefully I will find out early today. Thank you

They've phoned me, her left side bladder is swollen they think it may be urine reflux they are referring her for a more in depth scan. Thank you for your help 😊
