Chicken pox

My son had his first chicken pox spot appear 6 days ago since then he's had loads more appear bister and scab over but he's also had loads of tiny ones appear that haven't blistered and look like they are just fading.
My question is they say they are no longer contiguous after the last spot has blistered and scabbed over so how do I know when he is no longer contiguous if some of his aren't blistering?
And is this normal?
He is completely back to his usual self and is desperate to get back to nursery.

It’s normal to have some not blister, some just look like spots.
