Pain caused by a bath after recent surgery

My 12 year old had planned undescended testicle surgery 3 weeks ago. Did all the advice told to avoid baths for 2 weeks. He’s had his first bath tonight a few hours ago. He’s been complaining just before 9 that down there hurts and feels like it’s pulling when he moves. The pains not been horrible and he’s otherwise fine.
just to be sure I’ve given southdoc a call but they said they’d call back later with a nurse or doctor.
just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience or got any advice.

Maybe it's caused when the heat of the bath has allowed everything to relax. Maybe when he cools down the balls will return to a more relaxed position. Deffo worth getting seen and checked by the GP tomorrow I wouldn't ever disregard groin pain.

Hope he's feeling better soon

Thank you, we went back to the hospital later that night and spent the day. He had loads of bloods done, seen by the urology and surgical teams and they did an ultrasound. Everything has come back okay, other than he has an infection in the epididymis on both sides which they said was unusual but can happen after surgery x
