2 year old - red flags?

Hi,

im just wondering if anyone can give me any experience or reassurance with these symptoms. I’ve already requested a GP appointment.

2 year old has had a swollen tonsil for about 6 weeks. She was treated for tonsillitis about 6 weeks ago and then had a swab 2 weeks after as I was concerned it hadnt resolved due to white spots on his tonsil. The swab came back clear.

At the same time she’s been complaining of leg pain, mainly at night and I think seems to be bruising easily on her legs.

now I’m aware all these symptoms could be coincidence (viral, growing pains and boisterous toddler respectively) but collectively I’m worried there is something more sinister going on. I’m now driving myself mad looking at pics of her over the last few weeks thinking she has progressive dark circles under her eyes.

should I push for bloods? I feel like I’m being ridiculous but a little voice is saying ‘what if’.

thank you for any advice/experience.

I think it's good to be seen, and you can ask about specific "safety net" advice for serious conditions given you're already thinking along those lines.
