Bronchostop junior

I noticed the other day that Bronchostop Junior has a new pink packaging.
I recently bought the original white box for my 1yo, as the box says 1 year+, the new packaging says 3yr+

I emailed Bronchostop to ask if this was a new formula or just a repackaging and they said it's the same formula but the marshmallow extract is not suitable for under 3s. They said it's not a problem for infants who have used it in the past but to discontinue use.
I questioned why you can still buy both products and surely the packaging stating 1+ should be recalled? And they said no it's fine and it will just phase out 🤯

This makes no sense to me! Surely the marshmallow extract is safe or isn't?

Interesting. How odd. They should make a point of advertising the new packaging as it sounds confusing!

@user9632579 I know! Like if it's no longer recommended as safe for under 3s surely we shouldn't still be able to purchase it for under3s?
