Hi guys could anyone give me some advice please, so my son has been constipated from 3 days after birth, he has struggled to go for a poo, iv tried everything bicycle legs, belly massage, I took him to the doctor and they prescribed him laxative at the age of two weeks and he’s been on it ever since as whenever I tried to stop it slowly he gets very constipated again. He even struggles to go with the laxative (once every 2 days) When he does go it is like brown water with mucus and white little lumps. He also farts ALOT and they are really smelly. After bottles he is really unsettled and rolls around like he’s in pain and grunts a lot even when he has burped a lot. I feel like the doctor isn’t taking me serious and it’s hard to watch him clearly uncomfortable. I have even changed his milk once to see if that helped but it’s exactly the same. Any advice on what this could be? Thank you
