Sudden exhaustion in child?

Will start by saying my dd has always fought sleep like a heavy weight boxer so this really is out of her norm.

yesterday she woke up with sore legs limping and I thought she maybe had a virus coming along but no symptoms. Today she said her head and eyes felt sore and She’s been easily upset today and little energy but ate fine and just watched lots of tv. No fever but after dinner at 7 she said she felt exhausted and asked to go to bed and was asleep by 7:30. Literally never happened before.

is this exhaustion / aches normal with a virus? No temp and seems ok otherwise but I’m finding myself worrying I’ve missed something with the limp yesterday and exhaustion today. However not sure I can realistically take her to be assessed because “she’s tired”

i have health anxiety so I do tend to spiral 😢

How old is she? I'd say that something is working on her possibly. Sore eyes, does she wear glasses or had an up to date eye test?

Please get her checked out
You know your own child x

She’s 9. I feel it would be excessive taking her in to get checked
for being “tired” it’s just I’m wondering if it’s linked to the limping yesterday and I’ve a faint memory that can be something serious in kids?

Sounds like she's coming down with something. Limping due to sinister issues is usually only one leg - this sounds like muscular pains like with flu. Let her sleep and see how she goes x

Body aches and tiredness sound like a typical virus. I would wait to see if it resolves itself.
