I made a mistake with her cups and my DD (age 2) has drunk milk that was out of the fridge for over 4 hours. How likely is she to be sick? 😔

When I went to school when we had free milk... it never saw a fridge in the summer. We all lived to tell the tale, every school day for years.

Don’t know if it’s the same( sour milk) but my MIL has drank buttermilk from she was a child. She could have cartons very well past their use by date too and would drink away. 82 and going strong.

I am so.old that, when I started school, we had free milk.

The dairy would deliver 300 bottles of 1/3 pint milk to our school at about 6am.

It would sit in the sun (or snow, depending on the season) all morning until we drank it.

We all.lived to tell the tale

Our school was exactly the same, I’d almost forgotten about school milk, it was bloody awful.

It's winter time so will be fine . We were given glass milk bottles at school that sat in the hot sun all day , it was disgusting but no one ever got sick from it

I remember that! Also, my mum used to make yoghurt in the airing cupboard. It was delicious and I also credit it for my strong constitution 🤣
