Hi guys has anyone changed their babies formula at 10 weeks old and how was it? I'm wanting to swap my babies formula over and I'm not sure how to go about it.

Thanks

Hi OP
Why do you feel you need to?? The reason may help the advice given. What milk are you using at the moment and what are you thinking of changing to?
All of the first milks are highly regulated and very similar.

Hi thankyou for any advice given. It's because they've changed their formula recently not sure how it's changed formula wise need to look into it but he is crying a lot fussy and seems to spit up more wich is very unusual for him.

It's tricky because the formulations don't stay the same, eg there is oil in formula and they add whatever they can cheaply source at that time so it varies.
Aptamil and Cow and Gate are very similar and the Aldi formula is basically SMA.
It's tricky because his symptoms could be caused by a number of things.
No harm in changing formula though as the first milks are cows milk based. It's fine just to switch and replace the next feed. Hope he settles down for you.

Hi! Did you change formulas in the end? My DD is 6 weeks and was vomiting her feeds on aptamil so made the change to HIPP organic and she seems better in herself and spitting up less (still a bit) but it has made her very gassy.
