Hello, just after some advice as I can't find anything about this on google and I could be completely overthinking,
My almost 2 year old has had the same spot on for chin for about 8 weeks, it first appeared on Christmas eve then the second picture is yesterday.
This seems strange to me but as I said I could be overthinking, it's just the fact it's just one spot that just won't go, some days it looks more red than others.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks!

Does it have a whitehead like a spot and is it getting bigger at all?
if worried a GP trip might help :)

Go to the chemist and ask their advice.

I'd probably try something like sudocrem for a week to see if that helped.

Thank you for replying, no it doesn't have a whitehead it's just red, it hasn't changed size but some days it looks more red than others. I've been thinking maybe with dribble/food getting on her chin and all the wiping it just hasn't had a proper chance to heal! But yes I will probably ask the GP or try the pharmacist first.

Hard to tell from photo but could it be molluscum contagiosum?

I've tried sudocrem, doesn't seem to help. I will try the chemist, thanks!

Would there be more than one spot if that's what it was? I've just googled, I've not heard of that before
