Is it normal for a child not to sweat?

My DD has been generally unwell for a while (under the care of paediatrics so it's already in hand but no diagnosis). She is running warm a lot of the time (37.6-38 degrees). It just occurred to me today that she never sweats even if she has been running around a lot or if it's a hot day. I'm wondering whether the lack of sweating is linked to her constantly having a slightly raised temperature. Or is it just normal for a child not to sweat?
