Does anyone know what this rash is?

I noticed this rash when changing my baby's nappy at lunchtime. It's on the left side of her lower tummy, near the nappy strap but nowhere else. I'm almost certain it wasn't there this morning.

Photos are pending review but they are a cluster of red pin prick dots and slightly bigger ones. Some are raised and some aren't. From an angle they look similar to a sort of blood blisters but straight on they don't.

Could be a reaction to the nappy? Can happen if you change brands or there is irritation/sweat/wee on the skin. If you have a skin cream like sudocrem, Metanium, calamine cream you could try that to see if the irritation calms.

Check the rash blanches under a glass and check other symptoms like fever. If those things are clear it's probably a viral non specific rash or irritation of some kind.

Does the rash blanch under a glass? If so it may be heat or sweat rash, or a bit of a fungal or bacterial skin infection.
