Hi,
Were on day 7/8 of what I think is a virus.....

Little one started being grumpy and crying (my little one never really cries. Chilled baby here - don't worry my first wasn't and still isn't 🥴)

She's had a few looser bowels. Clearly full of snot. No real cough. Couple of mucus vomits. Temps for past 4/5 days but doesn't go past 39 Wanting to sleep a lot. Wake windows are decreased massively. For today for example
710am woke her.
10am asleep till 11am. Woke her.
2.05pm/210pm sleep and will allow her sleep until 4pm.
Bed will be around 730pm/740pm.
Sleeping at night. Couple of whinges. But generally it's nothing we have to go into. I do check her obviously for temp give calpol etc.
Clearly see she's unwell by her eyes. And tired around the darkness around her eyes.
Decreased food intake. Milk is a bit hit and miss but plenty of wet nappies. Still hitting around 16oz/18oz a day. Drinking water too.

But the other thing 10 days ago we went onto the step 2 of milk challenge. Which we have obviously stopped.

Am I right sounding viral?

Thank you. Tiredness in brain

Bless her she sounds like she caught something and is fighting it off. I'd forget the milk challenge at the moment, just let her get better first. My 2 year old has had virus after virus this winter so I get it completely

Hi

I hope little one is well soon. Great there's wet nappies and sleep for recovery... I would say though that when my little ones been ill for more than 5 days and I've had to keep giving calpol I've gone to GP/walk in and each time discovered she has some sort of infection ( ears and throat ) so maybe best to just get a look over

Thank you 👍 😊
We managed through the night and she didn't need any pain relief and no temperatures. So I'm hoping we have perhaps broken the cycle. Going to leave till tomorrow. I was just worrying.
