Lump after 8 week vaccines

Is it normal to get a lump at the site of injection after 8 week vaccines? It’s still there 2 weeks later.

Yes totally normal- mine had this and I remember really worrying even though the gp and HV said not to, as 2 weeks later it was there still.

It went by about 4 weeks after x

Yes totally normal. My son had this. I asked my brother who’s a doctor and he said it happens all the time.

Just to add, make sure you show them at the next jabs if it’s still there, as they might want to not inject in the exact same place

It could be an immune response to the vaccine (normal) or it could be some light tissue damage/irritation at the injection site or just a general reaction.

Keep an eye on it, if it increases in size or becomes painful then speak to a doctor but it should go within a few weeks
