Nursery toddler

WWYD?

My 3 year old goes to nursery 3 half days a week and is constantly picking up coughs/ cold which she then passes on to my 6 month old. (As I’m typing this, my baby is coughing aggressively which is affecting his sleep).

As I’m still on maternity leave, would it be reasonable to pull her out of nursery for the time being, to prevent the constant illnesses?

I’m in the same situation with a 3 yo and a 9 month old who has been constantly ill since Christmas. But honestly, unless I decide to not take the baby to any playgroups, my mum & baby fitness class or see friends and family, I’m not convinced how much we are catching from the toddler and how much from elsewhere. It’s been a pretty rough winter with a lot of bugs going around.

If you pull her out of nursery you lose the break and the 1 on 1 time with baby. If anything I'd increase nursery a bit! Do a couple of full days?

It's horrible seeing baby ill but his/her immune system will improve.
