Keppra and increased seizures

Can anyone share their child's experience with Keppra / levetiracetam, please?

My DS is 18 months and was fully weaned onto the starting dose by 28th Dec. If anything, I am now seeing slightly increased seizures, though no side effects. Can this be normal in the first month? He has myoclonic seizures only and they arise from a rare chromosomal disorder. A few in his cohort have had to try various meds to get the seizures under control but I don't have details of which meds.

We don't have an epilepsy nursing team in place yet as no one has got back to me or to our paediatric consultant (who has already chased twice on our behalf). We don't see neuro consultant for months for follow-up as they are so swamped.

I don't know what to do.
