Strange rash on feet

My 12 year old son has been a bit unwell the past two days, hight temp (not massively so) sore throat, feeling generally unwell. He’s feeling ok now but I noticed this strange rash on his feet and lower legs. Any ideas?

It could just be a viral rash. Does the rash itch? Keep an eye on the rash. My son had a virus and it caused Vasculitis - but your son's rash doesn't look the same.

@Noideawhatimdoing40 does the rash blanch? If not, I would go straight to A&E. My DC would have petechial rashes and I was always told I needed to seek medical advice.
