My little one has a rash on his bottom. It’s fairly spread out and doesn’t seem to be bothering him. Last weekend we were away at a farmhouse in the countryside and when we got back I noticed he was starting with a few little pimples on his bum, by Wednesday it hadn’t spread at all but it was still there so we took him to the doctors and they ruled out any chickenpox etc and said it looked like it could have been bites. He did have one episode of vomiting and diarrhoea last week around the same time but this got better within a couple of days, other than that he is fine, a little off his milk but having the same amount just in smaller feeds more frequently. The doctor took his temp and had a look in his ears and said he was fine this is why she assumed it was bites. Anyway today I’ve noticed that he’s got a couple more but surely they can’t be more bites? He’s on a brand new mattress so I’m pretty confident it wouldn’t be bed bugs and we don’t have any pets. I will be taking him back to the doctors tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar? It is only on his bum and lower back and has stayed in that area
