HPV vaccine question

CosyAutumn · 26/01/2025 10:05

My daughter had the HPV vaccine at school, earlier this week.
Three days later she got her first period.
Is it pure coincidence or is the vaccine known to trigger it? Just wondering.

Pure coincidence

Absolutely no connection whatsoever.
HPV vaccines ate given on a timescale to hopefully ensure herd immunity before the teenagers start experimenting with sex. Of course it's going to coincide with puberty milestones for some

You ovulate at least two weeks before you bleed. So she had already ovulated 11 days before her HPV vaccine.

Don't women who've had babies know how their menstrual cycle works?!

Wow! Rude!

The Covid Vaccine affected menstruation for many women, so...

It was just a pondering.
