What’s this on my 4yo toe

DS toe has looked like this for over 2 weeks. I don’t believe it’s infected as it’s not hot, there’s no puss and it’s not spreading.
But I’m also not sure it looks exactly like bruising, as how would you bruise just this area & surely it would improve after 2 weeks?

Seems like too minor for the GP, but just wondering if there’s anything I can do for him? It’s not painful either

Looks like a chilblain. Can you send a photo via online consult to GP? Or, failing that, ask pharmacist to look at it. (I know pharmacists are massively overworked now they have to do walk in clinics as well, but it does need somebody to actually see it). It is inflamed around the nail bed so needs checking.
