Temp of 35 at night?

My little boy (3) has recently been waking screaming, saying his feet are hot (they feel a normal warm temperature) but they feel warmer than the rest of him and the in-ear thermometer reads 35/35.5c. It then goes up slowly over the course of half an hour.

Could this just be a night terror thing or it is worth talking to the GP about? He also goes pale sometimes (more pale than his normal very pale self) but again, could be due to being scared or a blood pressure thing? Just going off my own experiences with feeling hot but actually being a low temp.

unsure what comes first, the crying or the low temp.

I would definitely call the GP about this. I think a temperature under 36 combined with distress is concerning. If he is suffering from these symptoms now I would call 111. Hope he’s ok.

His temp has gone back up and he’s nearly asleep again but seems to be a pattern of waking up crying and head feeling fold but hard to tell if he’s crying because something is going on making his temp drop or his temp is dropping because of a night terror. I’ll contact the GP when they’re open given his immune deficiency disorder as well.

Thank you for your reply!
