Eczema or something else?

HI all, Im mum to a 4 month old and in the last 2 months my baby has developed eczema. It was mainly on her face (has died down with La Roche Posay and mild steroid) but is now very prominent on her tummy. I had an unhelpful appointment with an NHS dermatologist who was less bothered about what's causing it and more focused on managing it. My question is, does anyone know what might be causing it? A long shot I know as eczema is tricky to find the root cause! Could it be an allergy to detergent? Thinking I might just wash her clothes in water for a while. She's an otherwise happy and healthy baby (nappies are normal, formula fed, not overly windy etc). Any advice appreciated :)

Hello

my baby is 5 months old now . And we are having this issue since last year October. Visiting GP and unhelpful .
their first though was that my baby has eczema from cows milk which contains any formula. So we have changed to Aptamil Pepti ( which is not containing cows milk) but situation has not changed.

all the time when I feed baby his cheeks get very red and with scabs.
so I went to see the doctor again and said that it’s not from cows milk but must be something else what contains formula and he has allergy.

where they answer was that they will report it to pediatric and it can take MONTHS
