So my daughter had a nasty kidney infection about 8 months ago. It started off as a urine sample which was resistant to the antibiotics. We spent a week in hospital and she was quite poorly.
2 months later she had another water infection so I took her back to the gp and the antibiotics worked.
a month later I thought she had another urine infection but the test came back with just a bit of protein in and they advised that it could be the tail end of a small infection and to repeat in 3 weeks.
the last 3 samples over one month imcriments have had traces of blood and protein. The last one we sent in the end of last week and they’ve now asked me to come in to discuss the results. I’m so nervous. Has anyone else had experience of this?
