Am I panicking for no reason?

(FTM) My baby is currently 5 weeks and 5 days old. I’ve been up to a&e with her 3 times since she was born as she keeps vomiting her milk up and wheezing. She also breaths really loud when having her milk. The first time I went up they told me it was bronchiolitis and to keep an eye on her. Then the last 2 times they kept telling me to reduce her feeds (if I did this she would now only be on 1/2 an oz every 3 hours and this doesn’t seem like enough). The GP also told me it could either be her milk, a stomach bug or gastroenteritis but doesn’t actually know so he’s not worried (surely for a baby he should run tests) I was in the appointment for 5 minutes and all he did was check her temperature and reflexes.

I was just wondering if anyone else has been through this with their baby and know what it could be as I’m up every night crying with her because she’s crying out in pain and it’s hard to cope.

It could be reflux. That can make them very wheezy and snuffly and grumbling when feeding. It could me an allergy to the milk.

Go back to the GP and ask again if it could be either of those.

There is RSV going around at the minute. Has she been double checked for that?

I have changed her milk to the aptamil reflux one which seems to have helped. As for the RSV the hospital keep saying because she’s only pulling in under her ribs a tiny bit they don’t have any concerns
