Orthodontist assessment & cold sore

DD finally has her orthodontic assessment tomorrow having been on the waiting list for 2 years. She's come out with a cold sore. Can she still have the assessment? Her appointment is at 9am so I can't call beforehand to check.

Should be fine, they wear gloves to touch the mouth.
Have they sent you forms to fill in? Mine sends a health questionnaire in advance of each appointment , do you have Covid/heart problems type questions. Don't remember it including questions about cold sores.
