5 month old temp

My 5 1/2 month old has had a temp since last night ranging between 37.7 — 38.8, he has no symptoms of what could be causing it, should I be phoning 111 to get him checked over?

No, you don't need to call 111, kids get temps all the time. If he's fine in himself keep him hydrated or offer calpol. But 111 aren't needed for a simple temperature with no symptoms. They'll just tell you your baby has a slight temperature.
