Are my babies eyes small?

I think I’m going to sounds crazy but since my baby was born he’s nearly one, I’ve felt like he has really small eyes and it’s worrying me! I’ve said it to family and they all say his eyes are fine but I just feel like there just so small and something is wrong. Me and his dad both have not big eyes but normal sized.

if he did would the gp have said something?

He’s got lovely eyes. Nothing wrong with them.

ClumsyBastard · 29/12/2024 10:41

Gently OP, you're fixated. They look completely normal to me.

MontyNojangles · 29/12/2024 10:43

He's got lovely eyes OP. Beautiful little boy whose face seems in proportion. You're being a bit mental, sorry. Even if his eyes were small, what would the GP do about it? Give him new ones?

B29 · 29/12/2024 10:46

Thanks everyone, I knew I’d sound crazy. I’ve had a bit of health ocd toward myself before I was pregnant and think it’s transferred over to being paranoid about his health!

nice to hear from others though they they look normal, don’t get me wrong I know his eyes are beautiful but all my nieces and nephews have huge eyes so it made me worry something was wrong.

I don’t think they are small but I get the anxiety. My DD sometimes slept through loud noises so I worried she was deaf for ages.

creamsnugjumper · 29/12/2024 11:14

Awww he looks super cute and his eyes look perfectly normal sized.

Sussurations · 29/12/2024 11:15

They are beautiful eyes! Lovely hair too. What a cutie.

ColourBlueColourPurple · 29/12/2024 11:27

Seems normal.

Oh he is gorgeous!

And his eyes are fine.

I get the anxiety though. Just the other day DS1 (14) was sleeping beyond 8 am I went in to check he had not died in the night. Nope- just up watching Stranger things until 2 am and generally being a teenager.

Susieblue18 · 29/12/2024 20:48

His eyes look perfect. I have had health anxiety and remember when my son was a baby I was convinced his eyes were too wide apart and I was totally obsessed about it, looking at other children all the time etc. I was convinced he must have some genetic condition. Try to read a bit about health anxiety and get some help so it doesn’t ruin your time with your beautiful boy.
