Swelling went away but my DDs eye had swollen very quickly yesterday and the other started to do the same but not the same extent. Anyone seen this before and know what it was?

I would call the GP to be honest as I don't like to mess around with eyes, it can very quickly become an emergency. However, is there anything new that they've eaten or rubbed on them? Have you tried anti histamine? Do they have a virus?

we gave an antihistamine yesterday and it went down within the hour and they seem fine today just wondering if anyone knew what it could’ve been. She hadn’t eaten anything different or anything like that

Could be a cleaning product, scent, plant, shampoo?

Only got a slight bump on the one eye now today and eyelids a bit red, she does have a cold, and had a high temp on Saturday afternoon and vomited twice yesterday morning

I was told by a doctor that kids can have a mild allergic reaction triggered by a virus - they also said sometimes they just have one and you never know why.
