Fluctuating temp

The last 2 nights my 15 week old has been cold but then will warm up after layers being applied. Not long after this he will get cold again! It's not freezing in the room (between 18-21 degrees Celsius) I'm not well myself at the moment (high temp) so really need to sleep but this is keeping me awake. Any ideas what could be wrong? He's fine during the day

Have you taken his temperature ?

RavenLucian · 19/12/2024 03:09

Yes it's usually between 35 and 36 that's when he's cold. 36.5 during the day or when warm

35 is much to low and requires hospital treatment

He's fine. Nurse said its normal for babies to have low temp during the night due to cold temps during the day when outside. I just have to make sure it doesn't go below 35 and his feet, hands or lips don't go blue.
