How lethargic is too lethargic?

My 3yo has slept all day. He woke briefly at about 8.30am and I re-settled him with a drink. Then he woke for a bit longer at maybe 11.30/12 and had a drink, a new pull-up and didn't want to eat. He has then slept again all afternoon. I know sleep is the best healer and he is drinking and weeing if not eating, so haven't troubled any medical services. At what point should I contact GP/ walk in?

In doubt call 111.

Does he have any other symptoms? Temperature, light aversion, rash?

I'd have him looked at by a doctor just to be on the safe side. My DS was drinking and weeing but sleeping all day when ill in March, he was still dehydrated and ended up admitted to hospital via a&e needing a drip. Also what is he drinking? A&e advised us that water is not good when dehydrated as it's only diluting your sugar/salt/electrolyte levels even further, they recommended apple juice.

Thanks, he has had a fever and temperature but woke at about 6.30pm and though still not quite himself, has eaten and drunk and is much more awake!
