Hi,
My almost ten year old has been complaining of pain in his mouth today. We had a look before bed and saw this!! his second tooth is coming above his milk tooth (first molar). Should I take him to the dentist, or is this relatively normal??
Thanks x

It's normal and the milk tooth will be pushed out eventually. Just make sure he brushes carefully round the adult tooth as it comes in and doesn't just avoid brushing it.

Normal. DD has the same right now in fact. All her front teeth did the same. "Shark teeth" is the term.
Get some anbesol or similar for any discomfort. Dds currently on week 4 of this with one tooth forward and baby tooth not remotely wobbly yet.
