Hi everyone, our 8 week old baby really suffered with silent reflux, screaming in pain 24/7. We got started on 1.5mg liquid omeprazole and it literally transformed her into a smiling baby. Now though she has terrible wind (needing to do huge burps, constantly farting and cannot be put down for more than a couple mins). She isn’t crying from it but is uncomfy and cannot settle her to sleep until she is basically exhausted.
Has anyone else experience this? We are thinking of reducing the dose but don’t want her pain to come back.
Also, does anyone know how long babies tend to stay on it for?
