Rash around mouth

My toddler is 2.5 years and has had this rash around his mouth on and off about a month. Started when he was poorly and was told it’ll be cos of medicine and cleaning him etc. but it’s got worse, deffo worse once he’s eaten or having face wiped. Any ideas? These pics after he’s eaten (as you can see by the food in his teeth🤣) and been wiped and it flared up. Sometimes it’s really subtle like the other picture this is after applying aveeno cream.

It doesn’t look like impetigo, does he have spots anywhere else, like in hand foot and mouth?

Nope nothing anywhere else! So odd!

Does he have a dummy? Looks like drool rash.

Hey I know this is an old post but my 3year old has a rash round his mouth aswell and was told maybe a mild case of HFM but I'm unsure as he's had it twice before and no other spots. However he has croup again last week and on antibiotics but mouth rash still there
