Conjunctivitis or cellulitis of eye?

Hi all.
my 10 mo started with discharge from the eye on Tuesday morning
it has now developed to discharge, watering and puffy red eyes. I’ve been bathing it a few times a day and spoken to a gp over the phone who said from what I described it should go within a few days but now I’ve made myself concerned it could be cellulitis? Does anyone have experience of this and could tell me if it looks serious or just conjunctivitis?

The actual whites of the eyes aren’t red

If you suspect cellulitis then you need to get them seen tonight.

Is cellulitis likely to affect both eyes?

That looks like a viral conjunctivitis to me, it's very unusual to have a bilateral periorbital cellulitis and you don't tend to get that sort of discharge either.
