Calling all who have been impacted by perthes I'd love to hear more about your experience incl medical plan you took.
My son has been diagnosed at 6 and is suffering at the moment, struggling to put weigjt on his leg and has a zimmer frame. Feel like we are in limbo, basically just wait and see it through. What was your experience?
We have been asked if we want to take part in a trial which will decide at random whether he has surgery intervention or non surgical / physio. I'm told that there is no medical evidence to suggest one is better than the other hence trial underway to learn more. Does anyone have a view on this? I obviously want what's right for my son.
