Trying to keep it brief but getting very worried. Ds 4 started to be unwell yesterday. He's autistic with limited language so can't tell us wheat wrong but crying a lot, high temp. Was vomiting last night too. Went to ooh at midnight and they gave amoxicillin for ear infection. Couldn't get the prescription until 9am. Gave him the meds plus been alternating ibuprofen and paracetamol but temp still around 38.
Was also sick an hour after antibiotics.
About an hour and a half ago I noticed a rash on chest and neck, very blotchy and seemed to go away when pressed.
111 seemed to think allergic reaction told me to ring docs.
Docs don't seem concerned but will see him at 3.30
He now has this rash on face, more like pin pricks. Surely he should be seen more urgently?
I'm really confused as docs have said not to worry but haven't seen him
He's asleep now.
I'm most likely autistic too but haven't been diagnosed and second guess myself a lot.
Any advice?
